WINTER WEEKEND PHOTOGRAPHY RETREAT

Let’s go bush – in winter J just 1 hour from Brisbane

Once again we are going bush with our Weekend Photography Retreat – in the beautiful Main Range National Park, with cabin accommodation, the large meeting hall/lodge will have the log fire raging, and it’s going to be a HUGE Photographic Experience!

This time we’ll be doing some specific photography, like Landscapes, Night-time and Macro, but we will also be running Photoshop Training in between shoots, it's a first!

Picture this – running around in the cold taking amazing photo’s, then coming back into the hall around the fire sipping hot chocolate and marshmallows whilst we thaw and Photoshop to our hearts content, then we’ll head back out again for more photo’s.

So what is included?

For the 2 day participants we meet Saturday around 9am for morning tea, then we’ll head off to Lake Moogerah for some amazing shots, then back to the Lodge for Photoshopping, we will have a yummy lunch, then head out again in the arvo for some Macro work, then more Photoshopping and afternoon tea, bit of a rest then dinner.  Then we’ll do some amazing night-time photography till late.  On Sunday we’ll repeat the same but with different photography, after a yummy breakfast!  We will depart the Lodge around 4pm on Sunday.

For the 3 day participants you of course get the above with breakfast Saturday morning and dinner Friday night, but Friday night we’ll do a Starry night shot, then spend some time Photoshopping with hot chocolates again, we’ll also do some camera basic’s for those that need it, plus those that have done the basic’s will do some intermediate training, if time permits we’ll do some HDR (high dynamic range) shooting too.

Participants will need to make their own way to Lodge (approximately 1 hour from Brisbane by car).

 

In the event of inclement weather, sessions maybe changed to include indoor sessions or under special cover sessions, the weekend will not be cancelled or postponed, except in extra special circumstances.
